At NOCU, we have incorporated a scanner with a tracker that allows us to digitize any volume without the need for physical contact with its surfaces.
Now we can compare the manufactured models with their original 3D, obtaining a color map where, in a very graphic way, we can see if there are any differences between reality and 3D and, with a color code the magnitude of that difference.
We can also reverse engineer a part, obtaining a 3D CAD from the physical part.
We can do all this for small and large volume parts (even greater than 30m3).
As we don’t need to place targets (stickers), the process is incredibly fast.
